We bought a home in Brandywine, MD almost six years ago. The house was originally built in 1965 and the detached garage with an apartment over it was built in 1982.

My daughter who was 21 at the time (27 now) we moved in lived above the garage. She experienced strange events, including seeing a spirit at the end of her bed and having things moved. We also heard the sound of horses running down our road in the night.

I did some internet searches and discovered the story of Maryland's unsolved cold case of Kimberly Mileo who has been missing since June 1983. Her car was located just down the hill from where we live with the keys and her shoes. There is a website with the details.

My son (now 24) wanted the apartment since my daughter is only here on weekends. They switched apartments and he also has experienced feelings of spiritual presence and has heard voices.

I just wonder if it has anything to do with the missing young lady.
